Dallas City Code Enforcement
10-14-2013 We made an "OOPS !! " by not getting to debris quick enough resulting in a client / customer receiving a ticket from Dallas City Code Enforcement. We went to court on her behalf and got the ticket dismissed. I actually thought I would have to pay it but when I told the judge I was responsible and why I was responsible it was dismissed. Don't want that to happen again !! Curtis Hopper owner of aPerfectTree.com..., LLC. curtishopper@hotmail.com

Excuses Excuses Excuses
With all I'm trying to teach the public I often forget that we trim hair and prune trees. It seems as though ..."one thing at a time" The priority now being that we leave the trees thicker with Shade leaves in the center that continue to function when the outer leaves shut down because they reach their max temp. Their guard cells close their lenticels to preserve water / transpiration. The outer leaves' job is then to shade the interior leaves keeping them cool enough to due their jobs. MAKE THAT MONEY HONEY !!! Storing "Money" in the tree bank, the root system to spend on stresses, seeds, flowers, wound closing, and the like. The spends are sinks. They have limited ROI. What I've been taught by all the conferences I've been to pays off when MY client's trees are still alive.( At least the ones who follow my instructions and advise ) End of class for now..

Tree Trimming / Prunning
I / we trim trees according to continuing updated Industry Standards and ISA Certified Arborist guidelines. It's important to leave interior foliage. The exterior foliage stops photosynthesis when it exceeds its exceptable temperature range. It then functions to shade and cool the interior foliage so it continues to convert sun light, carbon dioxide and water/nutrients into usable energy to grow, compartmentalize, deal with stress like drought and more within the tree. The tree is a system that can't shut down. The leaves are money makers for the tree. When the leaves make more money than the trees need at that time, it's stored in the tree's bank, the root system. If there is no stored money the tree goes bankrupt. There is no bankruptcy bail out for the tree... it dies. Email us to trim out the awkward growing, rubbing, and dead limbs and to thin the canopy so it doesn't catch the wind in extremes and allows light under and through the tree for grass. Also to be city code compliant. service@aperfecttree.com ISA Certified Arborist Curtis Hopper TX-3236A
